There’s nothing much more fun than a joyful break away with old friends, as well as last weekend saw us do just that, with my oldest good friend in fact, Carlie, as well as her lovely family: husband, James as well as their three kids: Tali, Joel as well as Jay who joined us at the royal garden hotel in Kensington, London.

…Now, with five youngsters as well as four adults in overall we took up three extremely spacious, extravagant spaces across two floors (with staggering views) as well as indulged a dinner of legendary proportions with space service in our space on Saturday night (I believe we may well have purchased the entire menu) spanning pasta, Lobster Bisque, grilled chicken, nachos, hallumi, fish goujons, chips, salad as well as not forgetting mince pies in reception…You name it, we flipping well ate it!

The feast was important (and delicious) replenishment after a muddy however fun stroll in Kensington gardens as well as fuel for a night on the tiles as Carlie as well as I escaped to Mahiki Kensington (downstairs from the hotel) where we danced the night away as if it was was 1999 (the last time we stayed out that late to be fair). Mahiki are likewise kindly throwing my book introduce bash in may which I actually cannot wait on as well as judging by Saturday night’s shenanigans, it’s going to be a bit bit WILD! Stumbling back to the hotel in the early hours, we got a few hours kip before being revived by the amazing hotel breakfast which serves whatever you might want or need! After omelettes, smashed avo on toast as well as honeydew melon as well as copious cups of coffee, we made our method to a special sky Cinema screening of the extremely funny as well as absolutely heartwarming short film Olaf’s Frozen experience (premiering on sky Cinema on Christmas Day) before enjoying a snowman influenced arts as well as crafts celebration over tasty snacks as well as even much more coffee.
Such a treat!
We then headed over to the science museum for some mind-boggling fun (the youngsters liked exactly how interactive the exhibits were as well as of program splashing around in the basement) before a light lunch at Pret as well as much more mince pie quaffing back at the hotel before Carlie as well as the fam had to make their method house to Manchester.
